Interrogating Manuscripts : Cartographic Dimensions of Narratives from Indian Literatures

The seminar on "Interrogating Manuscripts- Cartographic dimensions of narratives from Indian literatures" on March 24 and 25, 2015 was held at Ambedkar University Delhi with involvement from School of Liberal Studies faculty and students in the area of alternative cartographies. Taking forward a branch of study that emerged during the cartography seminar and exhibition (Time Space Direction), organized during Feb-April 2014, this seminar also collaborated with a comparators group as well based in Delhi University as a part of the Modern Indian Languages, Delhi University, specifically mentored by Prof. T.S.Satyanath.

 This conference on alternative cartographies that emerge from readings of text 
and oral narratives from different parts of India put together diverse research dealing with the spatial and temporal geographies described in lesser known texts of Indian languages.
